Allston diner with FInney. She got the delicious chicken & waffles, but she’s doing it wrong. Butter doesn’t belong on chicken waffles… you need syrup and hot sauce. Butter grosses me out a lot, get that shit out of here. Finney feel free to add your commentary to this post at your earliest convenience.
I got the blueberry pancakes and a slice of some home made pie. I don’t remember what the pie was, but it was great. Finney if you remember what kind of pie it was, edit this post and add it. Blueberry pancakes were great well. I am hopelessly in love with breakfast. Also I liked the coffee.. a great little diner and a friendly staff.
I believe this was the morning we left the diner and Finney realized she couldn’t find her keys, so we spent like 2 hours looking for them. In our search we went to Moogies to see if anyone found them on the ground outside and turned them in. Obviously they didn’t have them, we’re dumb for thinking that was a possibility. BUT, I did order a grilled cheese and that was actually the first griilled cheese sandwich I ever had. I also got caramelized onions in it.. it was amazing. I wish I could relive my childhood again so I could eat grilled cheese and pbj 5 times a day. Long story short, Finney lost her keys.
So we got drinks at Deep Elum. OH YEAAAAH now I remember, this was saint paddy’s day. Then we met some of Finneys friends at an Irish bar in Somerville, got a pitcher of sangria. Then I left and went bowling with Tony and Ben at Boston Bowl where they give you free socks.. but I ate an entire pizza first at this great pizza place we stopped at. Ben at your earliest convenience, please edit this post and write the name of the pizza place. I’d also like to add that I beat both of them bowling and Tony played so badly he actually spiraled into a deep inconsolable depression for the rest of the night. That’s not a joke.. he got really sad and gloomy.
